Preventing Mold Growth

Summer is here! Unfortunately, that means rain is as well. Mold thrives in moist environments. We can help to identify what the moisture source was that led to the mold growth to avoid future mold issues. Mold remediation is significant because mold can cause serious health problems such as nasal stuffiness, throat irritation, coughing, eye irritation and skin irritation. In some cases, people can experience bleeding in the lungs and nose. While you may not be aware of dust mites because they are microscopic, many homes have them. You can prevent mold growth by keeping humidity levels as low as possible, preventing moisture with proper ventilation, drying wet areas immediately, and fixing any leaks in your home’s roof, wall or plumbing so mold doesn’t have moisture to grow.
