Insulation Removal and Replacement

Insulation plays a key role in keeping your home or commercial property running as efficiently as possible. If your space isn’t heating as well as it once did, it’s time to replace your insulation. Common reasons for replacing insulation are mold issues, water damage, wildlife damage and the decision to finish an attic space. In this example, we were remediating a home with puff back damage. Soot and smoke odor can permeate any porous material including sheetrock walls, insulation, etc. If the damage is extreme as it is in a small percentage of cases, then there is a need to remove and replace the insulation.
